My artwork sets out as a celebration of joy and love in normal life...​
I aim to create surprises & reminders of everyday extraordinariness & the delight of just being alive.​
I try to capture moments of love & whimsy in textiles, sometimes clay, soft felt clocks & other curiosities.​
I mostly use felt, fleece and fabric to produce my work, and find needle felting, applique and embroidery, both by hand and using a free motion sewing machine, the best techniques to get the result I want.​
I particularly enjoy the way colours zing against each other, making each colour shine brighter!

As I work mostly to commission, most are sold, but if you see something you like, I'm very happy to create something similar for you - I try not to reproduce anything, but prefer it to be specific and unique to you, so we can chat about details to make it your own!
